The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is conducted annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. The Common University Entrance Test is mandatory to get admission to central Universities in India. However, there are some universities that offer admissions without its scores. These colleges include Nagaland University, Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU), Sikkim University, North Eastern Hill University, and many more.
The Union Ministry of Education has permitted certain universities to offer admission without Common University Entrance Test scores as the institutions have reported that they lack resources to admit students based on CUET scores.
