The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) today (Feb 29) started the intermediate second-year 2024 board exams. The TS IPE second year 2024 exam began with the second language paper 2 exam on February 29 followed by the English paper 2 exam on March 2. The TSBIE inter second year exams will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon. Around 9.80 lakh students will be taking the exams this year.
Intermediate first year (Class 11) exams began on Wednesday with the second language Paper 1 exam. A total of 9,80,978 students have applied for the exams. While 4,78,718 students are appearing for the first-year exams, 5,02,260 students will write second year exams.
Students will have to take the hall tickets to the exam centres. The Telangana board inter hall tickets can be downloaded from the TSBIE official website – tsbie.cgg.gov.in. Students have to key in their SSC hall ticket number or the previous year hall ticket number and date of birth in the DD-MM-YY format.
The candidates appearing for the inter exams must report to the exam centre well in advance, at least an hour before the start of the exam.
The TSBIE 2024 exams for the second year will be over on March 19. The last exam will be held for the modern language paper-2 and geography paper-2. After the 2023 board exams, TSBIE has also arranged psychologists to address stress and anxiety among the students.
In the IPE second year exam last year, as many as 4,65,478 appeared for the exams and 2,95,550 students qualified. The pass percentage was recorded at 63.49 per cent last year.
