Last year, SSC students were evaluated on the basis of their marks in Class 9 and 10. Both components carried 50 per cent weightage. The 50 per cent weightage was given to class 10 marks, and was divided into two components — 30 marks for internal assessments and 20 marks for practicals/ homework/ assignments. After a decade-low pass percentage in previous years, 2020 saw a huge rise of 18.20 percentage points as compared to 2019. The overall pass percentage of fresh candidates who appeared for the March 2020 examinations was 95.30 per cent.
This year, over 83060 candidates achieved a score of 90 per cent and above. As many as 149221 got the marks between the 85-90 range.

The link to check Maharashtra board SSC result 2022 has been activated on the official websites -- mahresult.nic.in, hscresult.mkcl.org, hscmahresult.org.in. The link was activated at 1 pm while the result was declared at 11 am.
Last year, a total number of 15,75,806 students were registered for the Maharashtra board class 10 examination out of which 15,74,994 students were successfully passed and promoted. The overall passing percentage was 99.95 per cent. In 2020, 83262 students scored above 90 per cent. A total of, 1714 schools in Mumbai saw 100 per cent passing results whereas in 2019 the count was only 331 schools. In 2019, the pass percentage was recorded at 77.10 per cent, the lowest in 10 years.

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or class 10 result link will be active at 1 pm while the pass percentage and other information has been declared at 11 am. The Maharashtra SSC 10th Result 2022 will be available on mahresult.nic.in, hscresult.mkcl.org and hscmahresult.org.in after 1 pm onwards.
This year, for the March-April 2022 examinations, of the 15.68 lakh students who appeared for the examinations, and overall 15.21 lakh passed across the state. Last year when the board examinations were canceled and students were given marks based on internal assessments, the total pass percentage of the state was recorded at 99.95 percent, a record high compared to the previous years.
If any student has any queries or objections regarding the results, the board has released a list of complaint redressal officers at every divisional level where the students can take their complaints. A format of the complaint is available on the website, mahahsscboard.in, using which students can raise complaints. The complaint redressal officer would have to resolve the complaints/queries within 10 days.
However compared to March April 2020, when regular offline exams were held across the state, the overall pass percentage was 95.3 which is close to the overall pass percentage this year indicating that the pen-paper method of exams has brought results in the ‘regular range’ one again. As the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Class 10 examination on Friday a considerable decline was seen in the overall pass percentage of students as compared to last year when the state recorded the highest ever pass percentage. This year, overall pass percentage is 96.94 compared to 99.95 overall pass percentage last year.
After a decade-low passing percentage recorded in 2019, there was a huge rise of 18.20 percent in 2021. The overall passing percentage recorded by the Maharashtra board was 95.30 per cent. Of all the nine divisions, last year, the Konkan division had recorded the highest pass percentage 97.21 while the Mumbai division scored the lowest 90.91 pass percentage. Out of a total of 153 subjects, 24 subjects had 100 percent results.

The overall passing percentage recorded by the board was 99.95 per cent where 9.09 lakh were boys and 7.48 lakh were girls. Boys had performed better than girls.
While from February/March 2013, a complete rechecking of the answer sheet is available but students wishing to do so, will first have to apply for copies of the answer sheet and within five days of receiving the answer sheet, they can submit the application online along with prescribed fees and a copy of their answer sheet. Additional details in this regard can be sought from schools or the divisional board office. The applications for photocopies of answer sheets can be made from June 20 to July 9.
Students who wish to get their individual subject-wise marks recounted (verification of marks) or obtain photocopies of answer sheets or apply for re-evaluation of answer sheets can do so after June 10 on the website, verification.mh-hsc.ac.in. the prescribed format for application is available on the same website. For recounting of marks, students have to submit self-attested copies of their mark sheet and submit them online between June 20 to June 29.

The SSC or class 10 board examinations were conducted from March 15 to April 4, 2022. The examination was held in two shifts – the first shift was held between 10:30 am to 12:45 pm and the second was held from 3 pm and continued till 5:15 pm.
