The Government of Kerala has released the first year Vocational Higher Secondary (VHSE) and Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) SAY examination results 2016 on the official website. The result was declared on July 11.

The exam was held in June.

The scheme was brought about in 1983-84. The scheme was initially applied in 19 schools. By 1986, it was broadened to 73 schools where 27 vocational courses in various disciplines were offered. During 1995-96, the VHSE had affiliation with 310 schools who had a collective number of 814 batches across 45 programmes. In 1988-89, the scheme covered 100 schools which had 200 batches in all.

In the academic year 2000-2001, the scheme had 375 schools with 1000 batches in total. As of now, the scheme has been implied in 389 schools where students are enrolled in a total of 1,100 batches across 35 programmes. Out of the total number of schools, 128 are the private-aided schools whereas 261 are government schools.

Steps to check the Kerala VHSE/ DHSE results 2016
Visit the official website of the VHSE
Go to the tab displaying ‘Results‘
You will be redirected to a new page where you will have to submit your roll number
Your result will be displayed on the screen when you click on ‘Submit’ or press ‘Enter’
Check your result and save a copy to your computer for future reference
