DPUE Karnataka releases 2nd PUC results 2020 at karresults.nic.in

The candidates can check their results at karresults.nic.in. Over 5 lakh students had appeared for the Karnataka PUC II examination this year.

Around 5.95 lakh students had registered for the Karnataka II PUC exams this year.

The Department of Pre-University Education (PUE) has declared the result of PU-II or class 12 Karnataka board exams on July 14. The candidates can check their results at karresults.nic.in. This year’s overall pass percentage is 69.20 with the Science stream at 67.28%, Commerce at 65.52%, and Arts at 41.27%. Among districts, Udupi retained its top position at 90.71 pass percent. Dakshin Kannada too registered 90.71 per cent while Kodagu is at 81.53 per cent. Around 5.95 lakh students had registered for the Karnataka PUC exams this year.

Once again, Udupi has emerged as the top-performing district, however, it has seen a drop in pass percentage from 92.2 to 90.7 per cent. Dakshin Kannada, which was ranked the second-best performing district, shares the top slot with Udupi. Read here complete analysis.

The exams were disrupted by Covid-19 and were postponed midway from its initial schedule. The pending exams were conducted in June under proper social distancing guidelines.

To ensure social distancing during exams, additional 13,528 rooms were arranged across centres in the state apart from the 23,064 rooms in which all exams were held before the lockdown began.

strong>Karnataka 2nd PUC result 2019, the overall passing percentage was recorded at 61.73 per cent. Among streams, science students had recorded 66.58 passing percentage, commerce had 66.39 and arts had 50.53.
