This year, a total of 1,49,824 students registered for the 2nd PUC II exams, out of which 1,48,942 appeared for the exam and 52,505 passed.

In the PUC II results, the overall pass percentage was recorded at 81.15 per cent, with Arts getting a pass percentage of 68.36 per cent, 80.94 per cent for Commerce, and 89.96 per cent for Science.

“The results of KCET-24 can be published only after the announcement of the 2nd PUC 2nd exam and Agriculture Practical Test results. Further, KEA will officially notify the date on which results will be published, prior to the announcement date” said the officials.

Like last year, this time too, girls have outperformed boys in the 2nd PUC exam. Take a look at the stats:

The Karnataka Board has changed the exam pattern this year. As per the revised rules, the Karnataka Board II PUC exams will be held as Exams 1, 2 and 3 to “reduce stress and anxiety among students and to create better education and employment opportunities for them.”
While the Karnataka PUC exam 1 was held between March 1 and 22, the second exams were held in April/ May, and the results will be announced today. Following this, the third exams will be held in July.

This year, A Vidyalakshmi has topped the science stream in the second PU Karnataka board examination 2024, by bagging 598 marks. In Commerce, Gnanavi M, topped the stream with 597 marks, and Medha D, the daughter of an agriculturist, topped the Arts stream with 596 marks.
This time, the pass percentage for English medium students was 87.40 per cent, as 4,30,612 appeared and 3,76,339 passed the exams. Similarly, a total of 2,50,467 candidates appeared in the Kannada medium and 1,76,351 passed, taking the pass percentage to 70.41 per cent.
