Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 3 Result 2025: Class 12th results announced

Karnataka 2nd PUC exam 3 supplementary result 2025: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB), which conducted the Class 12 Pre-University Certificate (PUC 2) third exam between June 9 and June 20, announced the results on June 30. The karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in websites will host the Karnataka board Class 12 results at 1 pm on July 1. Students who failed prior to 2023 exam also appeared for the 2025 PUC 2 exam 3.
Of the total 6,37,805 students registering in Karnataka PUC 2 exams, as many as 4,68,439 passed in Karnataka PUC 2 exam 1 and 54,168 students passed in PUC 2 Karnataka board exam 2. The pass percentage considering the Karnataka board PUC 2 exam 1 and exam 2 results is 81.94 per cent. The Karnataka PUC 2 exam 1 result was declared on April 8, while the PUC 2 exam 2 result was declared on May 16.
As many as 41,719 (42 per cent) students improved their total marks in the second attempt of PUC 2 exam out of the 71,964 students who had registered for it. While 28,617 students saw a decrease in their total marks, there was no change in marks for 1,628 students. The PUC 2 exam-2 was conducted from April 24 to May 8 across 332 centres in the state.
Meanwhile, out of the 1.53 lakh students who were unsuccessful in PUC 2 exam 1 and appeared for PUC exam 2 Karnataka board, as many as 54,168 passed the test, taking the pass percentage to 35.2 per cent. The girls outperformed with a pass percentage of 36.3 per cent, whereas the boys secured 34.3 per cent.
Private candidates who appeared in the Karnataka board II PUC Exam-2, recorded a pass percentage of 31.2 per cent.
In the Karnataka 2nd PUC 2025 exam 1 results, the overall pass percentage was recorded at 69.16 per cent, as 4,76,256 students cleared the exam out of a total of 6,88,678 who appeared. This marks a notable decline compared to last year’s pass percentage, which stood at 81.15 per cent.
In the Science stream, Government colleges had 9,367 students appearing in the Karnataka PUC 2 exam 1 and 7,697 passed (82.20%). Aided colleges had 9,735 students appearing with 6,518 passing (66.94%), un-aided colleges had 1,63,503 appearing and 1,29,302 passed (79.06%), and BBMP colleges had 1,910 students appearing and 1,578 passed (82.61%).
In the Commerce stream, Government PU Colleges had 70,003 students appear, with 41,592 passing (59.41%). Aided colleges had 53,982 students appear and 31,366 pass (58.10%), while Un-aided colleges saw 1,32,601 students appear and 90,864 pass (68.52%), and BBMP colleges had 2,843 appear and 2,103 pass (73.98%).
In the Arts stream, Government PU Colleges had 64,755 students appear, with 51,592 passing (pass percentage: 79.64%). Aided colleges had 53,560 students appear, with 31,871 passing (59.49%). Un-aided colleges saw 34,354 students appear and 15,292 pass (44.51%), while BBMP colleges had 374 appear and 238 pass (63.64%).
