Karnataka 2nd PUC Result Date, Karnataka 12th Result 2023: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board on April 21 announced II PUC result. The students, however, will be able to check their results from 11 am onwards at the official website — karresults.nic.in.
A total of 7,27,923 students registered for the PUC II exam of which 7,02,067 students appeared and 5,24,209 students passed. The Karnataka second PUC exams were held from March 9 till March 29, and the practical exams were held from January 25 to February 10. Over 7.27 lakh students registered in 2023.
This year, 2,34,815 students registered from the arts stream, 2,47,269 from the commerce stream and 2,44,129 from the science stream. The exams were held at 1,109 examination centres across the state.
In 20223, 10,153 students were given 5 per cent grace marks in two subjects to allow them to secure a passing mark in the examinations. Many students expressed their dissatisfaction with the Chemistry paper, stating that it did not follow the expected blueprint and contained many application-based questions that made it challenging to attempt all of them. In response, a group of chemistry lecturers submitted representations asking for a more lenient evaluation.

This year too, Dakshina Kannada topped the pass percentage category by securing 95.33, which is an increase from last year’s 88.02%. Udupi stood second with 95.24% which has increased from 86.38% from 2022. Bengaluru South stood 10th place (82.3%) and Bengaluru North stood 11th place (82.25%). Bengaluru rural has managed to score 83.04% standing at 9th position.
In 2022, the Karnataka PUC II examinations were conducted from April 16 to May 4, 2022 and the result was announced on June 18, 2022. 6,83,563 students had appeared for the Karnataka PUC II examinations out of which 4,22,966 students passed. The overall pass percentage was 61.88 per cent. For boys, it was 52.22 per cent and for girls, it was 68.72 per cent.
In 2021, a total of 6,66,497 students registered for Karnataka 2nd PUC exams 2021. The Karnataka Class 12 examination was cancelled by the state government due to COVID-19 and the board had declared the PUC II results on the basis of internal assessment policy.
