Sharing the key to his success, 18-year-old Mohit Agrawal from Ahmedabad who secured All India Rank (AIR)-90 in the JEE Mains exam, said he ‘devoted seven to eight hours a day towards studies.’ Agrawal secured 285 out of 300 in session 2, the results of which were declared on Saturday. As a student of Maharaja Agrasen Vidyalaya in Ahmedabad’s Memnagar, Agrawal said he started preparing for the JEE examination from Class 9 only.

“I would attend my regular school classes too so I would not get more than three hours to prepare but on holidays like at present, I devoted 7-8 hours (towards studies) everyday,” he said. “Clearing doubts and attempting mock tests every two days is what really helped me,” he told The Indian Express.

Ditching the conventional option of going for engineering, Agrawal said that he wants to pursue his career and research in the field of mathematics.
