JEE Main 2026 application correction window dates (Representative image/ Pexels)The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main 2026) application correction window for session 1 on December 1 and close it on December 2. The JEE Main 2026 application for the January session exam is underway and is set to close on November 27. The exam conducting body will not extend the last date to register for the engineering entrance exam.

Candidates who want to make corrections in their application forms would be able to do so by logging in with their application number and password at the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in. The application correction window will close on November 27 at 11:50 pm. Candidates will, however, not be able to change all the particulars in the application form.
– Candidates will not be allowed to change their mobile number, e-mail address, permanent and present address, emergency contact details and photograph of the candidates on the JEE Main 2026 application form.
– Candidates will only be allowed to change their own name or father’s name or mother’s name.
– Class 10 and Class 12 details, date of birth, gender, category, sub-category / PwD and signature of the candidates can be changed and edited.
– Candidates will be allowed to change their exam centres based on their permanent and present addresses. The medium of exam can also be edited

Aadhaar)
If there is an impact on the fee, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable, the NTA said, adding that only one-time correction will be allowed to the candidate i.e. once the corrections are done and submitted, the form will be frozen.
JEE Main in 2026 will also be held in two phases. The first session is set to be held from January 21 to 30, 2026, and the next session will be held between April 2 and 9, 2026. JEE Main is held for two papers – paper 1 (BE/ BTech) and paper 2 (BArch/ BPharm).
