JEE Advanced 2024 toppers AIR 9JEE Advanced AIR 9 believes that it is important to give your best efforts for anything.

A resident of Mulund, Dhruvin shifted to the hostel facility of his coaching institute where he prepared for JEE-Advanced. “It was a two-year program, For the first year I travelled from Mulund to Andheri to study. But in the second year, along with a few friends from Mulund, we decided to shift our base to a hostel so that we do not spend time and energy in travelling. I am glad to have had friends with me in this entire process. Shifting to any place alone is definitely out of the question as it only adds to stress,” said Dhruvin, son of a doctor couple.

The topper took coaching from Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions.

His mother is a dentist and his father is an anesthesiologist. “But I was never interested in biology or medicine. So, I thought why not try engineering? The result however is a delight,” said Dhruvin who was expecting to feature among the top 60 based on his preparation.

According to Dhruvin, it is important to give your best efforts for anything. “But once you have given your 100 per cent, relax and accept whatever the outcome is. Stressing over the outcome is not going to be helpful,” said Dhruvin who did have a smartphone but consciously decided to not download any social media app which could result in distraction from studies.

To destress, Dhruvin would talk to friends, and play cricket with them. He used a mobile phone only for calling or texting. He would dedicate 10-11 hours a day to studies. He is happy now after the result as he feels his hard work has paid off and he can get admission to the CSE branch at IIT Bombay.
