(Express Photo/ Representative image)JEE Advanced 2024 AAT Exam: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has conducted the JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) from 9 am to 12 noon. Candidates had to report at the examination center by 8 am.
Candidates who wish to pursue BArch (Architecture) programmes at the IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur or IIT Roorkee will have to clear the AAT exam. The result will be made available on June 15.
— The AAT test paper had one paper only to be completed in 3-hour duration
— The AAT question paper was available to candidates in English language only.
— Candidates need to carry their JEE Advance admit card along with a photo identity card.
— No separate admit card will issued for the JEE AAT exam
— Candidates are instructed to bring their personal drawing and coloring material
As per the official website no ranking will be released for AAT results, candidates who secured marks above the cut-off will be considered a pass. Candidates will be allotted seats as per the category-wise All India Rank in the JEE (Advanced) 2024 and to seek admission in BArch they need to qualify the AAT exam.
The test center for the AAT exam are IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee.
The registration for AAT exam began on June 9 at 10 am and the portal was closed on June 10 at 5 pm. Only JEE Advanced 2024 qualifying candidates were able to register for JEE Advanced 2024 AAT.
