JAC Jharkhand Board 8th Result 2020 HIGHLIGHTS: Last year, a total of 84.58 per cent students cleared the examination successfully. A total of 13.91 per cent students scored grade A + while 30.32 per cent got grade A. As many as 22.73 per cent received grade B, 17.62 per cent grade C and 15.42 per cent grade D.
Most of the students scored A grade on the result - over 1.99 lakh. To get an A grade, students have to score between 60 to 80 per cent.

As per the minimum marks criteria, students need to obtain a minimum of 30 percent marks to be declared passed in the matric examination. Thus, at least 30 marks out of 100 and an aggregate of 150 marks in total is needed to be declared pass.

The Jharkhand Academic Council was established for holding and conducting examinations of Intermediate, Secondary, Madhyama and Madarsa from Vastaniyan to Fazil for prescribing courses of studies for such examinations and for recommending for recognition of Intermediate Educational Institutions, High Schools, Sanskrit Schools and Madrasas to the State Government and for carrying out such other examination as assigned to the council by the State Govt from time to time.
