ICAI CA Final 2025: When will the May session results be out ?

Students can expect that the CA Final results will be announced before July 10.

ICAI CA Result 2025 Date: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the result dates for the CA Final, Intermediate, and Foundation examinations held in May 2025. According to the notice, the results will be announced on July 6, 2025, with separate release timings for each exam level. Once released, Candidates will be able to access their results through the official ICAI website at icai.nic.in. Candidates will have to keep their registration number/ roll number handy to check their results. The ICAI candidates have to use their registration number, date of birth, and captcha code to check the scorecards.

Following the declaration of these results, a total of 14,247 candidates have successfully qualified as Chartered Accountants. On the other hand in CA Inter under Group I, out of 97,034 candidates who appeared, 14,232 candidates passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 14.67%. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has published the foundation, inter and final results for May 2025 on its website — icai.org, icaiexam.icai.org and icai.nic.in.

Step 1: Visit the official website of ICAI CA exam results — icai.org.

Step 2: Click on the ‘CA result 2025’ link on the homepage.

Step 3: On the next window, candidates have to insert their registration number, roll number and pin number in the login window

Step 4: Enter the Captcha code

Step 5: Click on ‘Submit’ and download your ICAI CA May result

Candidates who score at least 40 marks in each subject and 50 percent in the overall aggregate will be considered qualified for the CA Foundation exam. Additionally, the ICAI will grant a qualifying status of “pass with distinction” to candidates who achieve over 70 percent in the aggregate for the CA Foundation exam in May 2025.

The CA Foundation exam for May 2025 was held on May 15, 17, 19 and 21. The admit card for the exam was issued on April 25.

The ICAI conducted the CA Foundation exam for January 2025 on January 12, 16, 18 and 20, 2025, and the results were announced on March 4. A total of 1,10,887 CA students appeared for their foundation exam in January 2025, of which 23,861 passed the exam. The overall pass percentage stood at 21.52.

The Foundation course Paper I and II was held from 2 to 5 pm, and Paper 3 and 4 from 2 to 4 pm on all days. In Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination, candidates were not given any advance reading time, whereas, in all other papers/exams mentioned above, an advance reading time of 15 minutes was given from 1:45 to 2 pm.
