IBPS PO Mains result date (representative image/ Pexels)The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), which conducted the Probationary Officers (PO) 2025 mains exams on October 12, will now declare the results. As per the information brochure, the IBPS PO Mains result is scheduled to be declared in November. Last year, IBPS PO Mains exam was held on November 30 and the result was declared on January 31.
When announced, ibps.in website will be hosting the IBPS PO Mains results. Candidates will have to log in with their registration number or roll number and password or date of birth to download and access the IBPS PO 2025 mains results.
Shortlisted candidates in the online main examination will be called for a personality test and subsequently for the common interview to be conducted by the participating banks and coordinated by the nodal bank. The personality test will be conducted in November/ December, 2025 and the interview in January/ February, 2026, the IBPS PO information brochure says.
Depending on the actual vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2026-27 based on the business needs of the participating banks and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the participating banks.

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the online main examination and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for the personality test and interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided, and candidates will be shortlisted for a personality test and an interview.
Before the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online main examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for the personality test and interview. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time and date of the interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.
