COMEDK result 2016: The first three ranks for medical seats in the first ever online Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) are secured by students from Karnataka
Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has made available the merit/rank of the eligible candidates in their ‘applicant login’ on the COMEDK website. The test was held on January 17 across 72 cities.
According to a release, the first three ranks for medical seats in the first ever online Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) are secured by students from Karnataka.

COMEDK PGET is a computer-based national level entrance test which is conducted for admissions to 600 MD/MS/diploma course seats in 12 medical and 19 dental colleges of Karnataka.
A COMEDK release said, overall, 8,199 (50 per cent) candidates in medical and 1,949 (44 per cent) candidates in dental, have participated in the test, qualified for participating in the COMEDK seat selection process. Of these, 2,006 (24 per cent) candidates in medical and 300 (15 per cent) candidates in dental are from Karnataka.
The cut-off rank for a clinical seat in Medical PGET 2015 was 985, and 2,382 for the Dental PG programme (both general merit).
