CHSE Odisha +2 12th Arts Result 2020 Date and Time: The Council of Higher Secondary Education, CHSE Odisha announced the result for the class 12 Arts stream exam on September 5 at 4 pm. Odisha Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash told indianexpress.com, “The result declaration process was delayed as two officials working in the council office were tested positive for COVID-19. The board office was closed for a week and will now open in September, following which the pending work on result declaration will be completed. The result is likely to be announced by September 5.”

A total of 2.18 lakh (2,18,800) students appeared in the class 12 Arts stream exam this year which was held in March. Meanwhile, exams on a few papers could not be held due to lockdown, which was cancelled later. The students who could not give their exams on anthropology, sociology, geography, other arts stream papers will be evaluated on the basis of a special assessment scheme. As per the scheme, if a student has appeared in more than three papers, then an average mark will be calculated from the best three subjects he/she has appeared for.

Once declared, the students can check the results at chseodisha.nic.in, orissaresults.nic.in. The students can also check the result via indianexpress.com by registering their name and roll number.

Results of class 12 commerce and science have already been released with 72.33 per cent and 74.95 per cent pass percentage, respectively. Last year, nearly 1.52 lakh students appeared for class 12 arts exam in which 65.89 per cent cleared it. Pass percentage of girls was at 73.99 per cent, much higher than that of boys at 55.80 per cent.
