CBSE Class 10 Board Exam Result: For the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 exams this year, nearly 21.8 lakh students had registered and the exams were conducted from February 15 till March 21. The exam duration was of three hours starting at 10:30 am and ending at 1:30 pm.
While the Board has not yet announced the result declaration date, it is expected soon. Once released, students can check their result at the official websites – cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbseresults.gov.in and cbse.gov.in.
In 2018, the class 10 exams were held between March 5 and April 14, but the result was declared on May 29 after 44 days.
The following year, in 2019, there was a decrease in the waiting time for class 10 results. The board exams were held from February 21 till March 29 and the result was declared on May 6 after a waiting period of 37 days, which was a week less as compared to the previous year.

When Covid hit the world in 2020, the CBSE result was declared on July 15 after the board decided not to go ahead with the exams due to Covid – 19, and the result was prepared on the basis of an internal assessment scheme. In 2021, too, the exams were cancelled due to the pandemic but the result was declared much later as compared to the first Covid – 19 year. The result was declared on August 3, as compared to July 15 of the previous year.
In 2022, the result was declared in July after the board decided to conduct exam in bifurcated or two terms. Term 1 and Term 2 exams were held in November – December and May – June 2023 respectively.
In the years before Covid – 19, the result was declared in May itself whereas after the Covid – 19 pandemic, the result was declared in the month of July and August.
