Recently, many fake circulars have been circulated on the social media platforms claiming result dates and time. However, CBSE has rubbished these circulars and asked students to only trust the notice which is uploaded at the official website — cbse.gov.in.

A senior official from the board also explained that students should always check the dates mentioned in the fake notices, as majority times the date mentioned in the beginning of the notice will be different from the one in the signature of the Controller of Examinations.

The Board has also earlier released  a list of handles that have been found to be using the name and/or logo of CBSE.

There are several accounts that impersonate CBSE, however, students should remember that there is only one official account of CBSE on ‘X’, with the handle ‘@cbseindia29’. Some of the fake handles are @Cbse_official, @cbseboard, @CBSENEWSINDIA, @CBSEupdates, @CBSE_Results, @cbse_guide, @cbseexamresults, @cbse_news, @CBSE_HQ, @cbse_nic_in, @cbscExam, @CBSEINDIA.

CBSE has listed nearly 30 such Twitter handles which are impersonating the Board and spreading misinformation.

In 2023, the class 10 and 12 results were announced on May 12.

Once the CBSE result is released, students will be able to check their class 10 and 12 results at the official website — cbse.gov.in. In addition to this, students will also be able to check their board exam results at the Umang mobile app, DigiLocker and also via the IVRS system.
