Bihar Board releases Class 10, 12 compartment exam date sheet

Matric and Inter exams will be conducted in two shifts -- the morning shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and the evening shift will be conducted between 2 and 5:15 pm.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the Class 12 and 10 compartment exam 2024 date sheet. As per the official schedule, the Bihar Board inter and matric compartment exams will begin from April 29 and conclude on May 11.

Matric and Inter exams will be conducted in two shifts — the morning shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and the evening shift will be conducted between 2 and 5:15 pm.

April 7 is the last date for students to apply for Bihar board Inter compartment and special exams 2024, and also for Bihar Board intermediate’s scrutiny process. Students can apply at the official website — secondary.biharboardonline.com.

This year, the Bihar Board on March 31 declared the matric result, in which 51 students have been placed in the top 10 ranks. While 10 students are placed in the top 5 positions, as many as 41 students have bagged ranks between six and 10. A total of 16,94,781 students appeared Matric exam 2024 including 8,22,587 boys and 8,72,194 girls. The overall pass percentage this year has rose from 81.04 per cent last year to 82.91 per cent per cent this year.

The inter results were declared on March 23. The pass percentage this year increased to 87.21 per cent for all the streams combined. The pass percentages in science, arts, commerce and vocational are 87.80 per cent, 86.15 per cent, 94.88 per cent and 85.38 per cent respectively.
