Bihar Board Exam 2025: The Bihar Board has commenced the Class 10 board examinations from today (February 17). Candidates who registered for the exam are appearing for language papers like Hindi, Urdu, Bangla and Maithili. The BSEB examination is conducted in two shifts (9:30 am to 12:45 pm and 2 pm to 5:15 pm) with a total of 15.85 lakh students at 1,677 examination centres in the state.

The Board has also issued frisking directions. The main gate of the examination centres will be closed half an hour before the commencement of the test, arranging of CCTV and videography at examination centres, a ban on entry of any unauthorised person and barring the centre superintendent, no other officer, teacher/worker and police force is allowed to enter the examination centre with a mobile phone, among others as mentioned in the press release.

The BSEB has also imposed Section 144 within a radius of 200 metres of the examination venue with no unauthorised person other than the candidates allowed to enter the examination centre.

A total of 73 examination centres have been set up in the Patna district for the secondary examination, where a total of 71,669 students (18,960 girls and 16,656 boys) will appear. Each exam centre has a facility for specially abled candidates.
