Watercolour magic

An exhibition of paintings by veteran watercolour artist Subhash G Kulkarni and 11 students of his art institute Kalashree is on display at Darpan Art Gallery.

An exhibition of paintings by veteran watercolour artist Subhash G Kulkarni and 11 students of his art institute — Kalashree — is on display at Darpan Art Gallery,in Patrakar Nagar,off Senapati Bapat Road. Displaying various facets of watercolour in still life,landscapes,abstracts and other forms,the exhibition was inaugurated by veteran artist Ravi Deo. “This is the second anniversary of Kalashree and the exhibition provides the much needed platform for upcoming artistes in watercolour painting,” said Kulkarni. The exhibition will be open till March 26 from 11 am to 8 pm.

Released in theatres in November 2012,Sons of Ram is based on Amar Chitra Katha’s best-selling comic book and portrays Luv and Kush’s journey to Ayodhya.
