Water supply to be affected

The water supply in parts of the city will be affected for the next few days owing to repair and maintenance work.

The Pune Municipal Corporation has undertaken development work that will ensure sufficient water supply in area that face water shortage. Hence,certain area will receive water only on alternate days till the work is completed. The area to be affected include Katraj,Sukhsagarnagar,Dattanagar,Santoshnagar,Dhankawadi,Ambegaon Pathar,Balajinagar,Shivshambhonagar,Kondhwa Budhruk,Rajiv Gandhinagar and Upper Indiranagar.

The PMC on Thursday carried out an anti-encroachment drive and demolished 4,000 sq ft illegal structures in Dhankawadi. Similar drive was carried out in Kondhwa area,where an 850 sq ft illegal structure was demolished.
