Rakhi Sawant has just declared her intention of getting married on a reality show. The actress says,At some point in her life,every young woman dreams of getting married. Im at that stage where I want a companion wholl share my life with me. In the Ramayana,Sita had a swayamvar,why not me?

The actress says this is her way to repay her fans. The public has made me who I am today. I want to make them a part of this important event. Sawant recently broke up with her on-off boyfriend of two years,Abhishek Awasthi.

One of the most infamous televised marriages was on the American show Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire? in which 50 girls competed to marry an unnamed multi-millionaire,Rick Rockwell. It ended a month later in divorce.

Sawant is blissfully optimistic about her chances of marital happiness. I dont want to be like one of those big stars who dont allow the public beyond the front gates during their weddings; my fan should be a part of my wedding.
