Trance-ferable

Born when the hippie culture was on an all time high in Goa the music has spread vastly says DJ Romeo. “We first played for a crowd of 50 that has now ascended to around 10000 people at times. This explains how the music and popularity has grown yet many are not accustomed to the sounds of our music because it is not commercialized which has steadily begun and we too are introducing it at many places with fabulous responses. Also we have been stressing that our music stands for happiness and you do not need drugs to enjoy it,” adds DJ Romeo who also has an acting career and is currently shooting with Salman Khan for the film Dabang.

The duo has also worked in the Hindi film industry in films like Heroes blending trance with the Indian Groove. Next in the pipeline are compositions with international artists alongside Pixel ,Sungirl ,Bizzare contact and so on. “Pune is as receptive as Goa and the crowd has tremendous energy here and has been very supportive whenever we have played. Whereas internationally we have found London quite exciting,” adds DJ Deepesh who is also working on his script and plans to direct his first film soon,which will have a lot of electro beats he insists.
