Soul Connection

Author Rohit Gore recently launched his fourth book The Guardian Angels at Crossword book store. Sonja Chandrachud,the author of Potion Of Eternity,was the chief guest at the launch. The Guardian Angels is a tumultuous yet passionate story of two characters,who are not just each other’s soul mates but also saviours. However,as the author claims,the novel does not have a predictable plot; it is about finding your spiritual counterpart and how spiritualism can guide a relationship through the toughest of times. Chandrachud said,“He is an unassuming storyteller who writes with brutal honesty and passion,creating unforgettable moments that touch chords of the reader’s heart.”

Debut Dance

Students of Kalashree Nrtityalaya,which was established by Pramadwara Kittur,will perform their Arangetram (debut performance) at Tilak Smarak Mandir today at 5:30 pm. Artistes Akanksha Shinde,Kadambari Bhalunkar,Sonal Bhalgat and Hemakshi Patel come from different career backgrounds but have a common passion for Bharatanatyam. The performance will consist of a number of intricate dance pieces such as alaripu,shabdam,jatiswaram and varnam.
