Tusshar Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh visited the city to promote their new movie,Kyaa Super Cool Hain Hum on Wednesday. They shared their experience of shooting for the film and how they enjoyed working on it. The event was hosted by Suryadatta Institute of Mass Communication and Animation (SIMCA) and Suryadatta Institute of Event Management (SIEM). Kapoor said,The movie is a very comedy; the youngsters out there will enjoy the movie thoroughly. The actors then danced to the tunes of Dil Garden Garden Ho gaya along with the audience. When asked whether the movie is similar to American Pie,Ritesh promptly replied, No,it is a complete different movie but it is dirtier and can be called ‘Desi Pie’ or ‘Dirty Pie’.
Musical silence
India Foundation for the Arts (IFA),has collaborated with National Film Archives of India,Pune,to present an audio-visual performance by talented sound designer and composer Jatin Vidyarthi on July 28 at Galleryske,Bangalore. A grantee under the Extended Arts Practices Programme,Vidyarthi will be re-creating the live atmosphere and mood of the pre-talkies era. The 1929 release Prapancha Pash (A Throw of Dice),directed by Franz Osten which tells the story about two gambling kings will be screened at the event. The film is based on an episode from the Mahabrarata.
