The Amit PDPL II has launched a unique mobile cricket roadshow in an attempt to heighten cricket’s appeal and attract Puneites to the country’s favourite game.

A seven-metre canter houses the mobile cricket roadshow experience. Entering the trailer, people immediately find themselves transported into a cricket pitch with astroturf under foot and perimeter boards along the front wall.

The roadshow features a ‘reaction’ wall,an inflatable net for the audience to hone their cricket skills. Those who take maximum runs will be given attractive PDPL merchandise as prizes.

Secretary of PDPL Ashish Desai said,“We wanted to introduce a mobile cricket roadshow, which would bring the game to life with the aim at encouraging people to attend the matches being held at Shinde High School Ground at Sahakar Nagar and Manchar. The roadshow that started on November 18 will tour the city for five days covering the Pune and PCMC areas, and promote the very best of cricket to a wide audience. The roadshow is a wonderful way to celebrate and spread the spirit of cricket and an ideal way to promote the tournament.”

The PDPL matches will commence on November 21 at Shinde High School,Sahakar Nagar.
