A specialised training capsule of Indian Army and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has commenced at Aundh Military Station in Pune focussing on national security priorities, the Indian Army said on Tuesday. The training focuses on tactical procedures and communication protocols during real-world contingencies.
A post on X by Indian Army’s Southern Command on Tuesday read, “A specialised training capsule aligned to national security priorities commenced at Aundh Military Station today, bringing together the Indian Army and CISF in focused joint preparedness.” CISF, a multi-faceted Central Armed Police Force, primarily provides security cover to critical national installations and also maintains 12 Reserve Battalions to respond to any security exigencies.
The X post further said, “Over the next two weeks, intensive scenario-based drills will be conducted to validate tactical procedures, strengthen communication protocols, sharpen decision-making and refine response mechanisms to meet real-world contingencies with speed and precision. This joint training reaffirms the Indian Army and CISF shared commitment to operational excellence, building interoperable capability, integrated action, and unwavering readiness.”
