Actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were in the city on Friday to catch up with their fans at the release of their film Goliyon Ki Rasleela – Ram-Leela,and also to launch Cinepolis,Pune’s first megaplex at Season’s Mall. Riding high on the overwhelming reviews for their film,Padukone said,“You know you have done a good job when Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mother herself is speechless after watching it,” adding that it is such moments that she will always cherish. Asked about how she felt about Pune,Padukone said,“We often take Pune for granted since it is very close to Mumbai but it reminds me of my hometown Bangalore. You see a lot of greenery,and feel the warmth and love of the people,” she said,adding that she would talk to her team about coming to Pune more often and assured that her fans in the city will get to see a lot more of her,now that she has invested in some property in the city. Meanwhile,when someone mentioned that Padukone has overshadowed Singh in the film,Singh said,“I am happy to be part of such a project. Working with Bhansali is a first for both of us. We were both looking forward to it,and were excited and nervous.”
