Clad in an ivory white salwar kameez ,actor Sonali Bendre visited the P N Gadgil Jewellery and Gems,Kothrud,along with her husband,Goldie Behl,on Thursday to unveil a new platinum collection. The couple celebrated their platinum day of love at the city jewellery store. “My first platinum day was when my son was born,” Bendre said with a smile,after unveiling the new collection of platinum jewellery called,’Platinum Love Birds’. “Platinum is the new gold for today’s youth,” she added. For the Maharashtrian beauty,diamonds and platinum are an irresistible combinaiton. With an ongoing break in her career,Bendre wants to venture into films only if she finds the role challenging. “I am in a comfort zone now and happy playing the role of a mother. It has no cuts and re-takes,but I enjoy every moment of it,” she gushed. Behl,who will be ready with the John Abraham,Prachi Desai and Chitrangada Singh starrer I,Me aur Main ,by mid-2012,admitted to contemplating directing his wife soon. “She can begin her career when she wants to. But I will direct her in the near future,” he said.
