Resident medical officer of PCB V Jaywant acknowledged that the situation was slightly panicky and the PCB was taking all measures to contain the damage.

All the cases reported at the Naidu Hospial and the Aundh General Hospital have been in the PMC limits. Even the family of the child lives in PMC limits. But the death of the girl at Jehangir has led to people raising questions about PCB. Actually, only her school and the physicians of Jehangir Hospital were are in PCB limits, said Jaywant.
