One more held in software engineer murder case

The Airport police have arrested the second suspect in the alleged murder case of 25-year-old software engineer Rakesh Dnyaneshwar Hargude,a resident of Khese Colony in Lohegaon.

The Airport police have arrested the second suspect in the alleged murder case of 25-year-old software engineer Rakesh Dnyaneshwar Hargude,a resident of Khese Colony in Lohegaon. The trail of blood at a secluded place in Lohegaon had led police to uncover his murder on Sunday. The police suspect murder to be a fallout of an illicit affair. Ganesh Sunil Jagtap,a criminal on police records,and his accomplice Krushna Swami,who was arrested on Monday,killed Hargude by brutally slitting his throat. Police said that Hargude,who worked at the Yerawada office of a multinational IT company,had an affair with a woman whose husband is a friend of the suspects. Senior inspector Dilip Naukudkar said the interrogation of the suspects is on.
