Hotel Ibis Pune will be hosting a pizzeria and pasta festival at its restaurant Spice It,where one will be treated to the chef's handpicked pastas and pizzas.

Hotel Ibis Pune will be hosting a pizzeria and pasta festival at its restaurant Spice It,where one will be treated to the chef’s handpicked pastas and pizzas. In pizzas,the festival has margherita,salamino piccante,con provolone,patate e pesto,pollo,fungi e asparagi,quattro formaggio,and many more. The pasta menu includes Fettuccine di mascarpone con spinaci e pomodori al forno,Penne alla sorrentina,Lasagna alla genovese,Ravioli di pesce con ridizuione di arogosta,Spegetti confit di pollo e vegetali all’olio d ‘oliva,Fuisilli ala Napolitano,Spaghetti –o Carbonara and the like. The festival will be held from October 25 to November 14.

Dinner,around the globe
On October 20,Courtyard by Marriott,Pune Hinjewadi,joined the Marriott International hotels around the globe,in hosting the world’s largest Thai dinner party,in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record. Guests relished the delectable Thai spread put together by executive chef Sahdev Mehta and his team. The menu included Phad Thai,Pla Chu Chi,Laab Gai,Thod Man Pla,Kluey Buad Shee.

Pearls of food
Trikaya at Bavdhan has started Oyster Weekends,wherein every Saturday night diners will be able to pick oysters imported from Ireland. The executive chef Nilesh will add tequila and tabasco to the oyster before serving up the delicacy. Along with this,there is also a Dimsum Lunch on offer where you can enjoy eight varieties of dimsums in a box along with soup,oriental rice and noodles,and a dessert. There’s sugar-free homemade baked karanjis and sugar-free masala ice-cream added to the dessert menu for those who are health-conscious.

Celebrating food
The RIMS International School and Junior College celebrated the ‘World Food Day’ at their campus with the ‘RIMS Dine and Dance’ event on October 18. The students took part in an inter-house cookery competition and prepared various cuisines ranging from Arab,Singaporean,Italian to Japanese. Executive chefs Nadir Shaikh and Mark Phillippo of Le Meridien were judges for the competition. The children also put up their dishes on sale for a nominal amount,the proceeds of which will go to charity.

Festive tastes
To celebrate this festive season,the Patio in Aundh has plain and centre-filled muffins,diya-shaped chocolates,almond and cashew nut cookies,hand crafted wheat cookies and walnut brownies on offer till October 24. And since it has just turned three,there are special offers for regular customers too.

Lucknowi delights
Diwan Saheb in Regency Hotel is hosting a kebab and biryani festival till October 31. Delicacies from Awadh such as Kakori Kabab,Galouti kabab,Pathar kabab,Subz-e-Galouti,Shabnam ke Moti are part of this festival as well as biryanis such as Lucknowi Noor Mahal biryani,Lucknowi Chok ki biryani and Kathal Pulao. One can also try mouth watering seafood like Rasili Machili,Jheenga lababdaar accompanied by methi roomali roti,taaftan and warqi parathas. For dessert,there is shahi tukda and Lucknowi paan.
