Oakwood Premier has organised a Delhi Street Food Festival at their fine dining restaurant and lounge Sen5es from April 25 to May 2. The festival promises to bring mouth-watering chaats and other North Indian food straight from the streets of Delhi. Food lovers can savour the tongue tingling golgappes,kulchaas,paranthas and kachories along with asli North Indian food like the Kaju Mutter Makhana,Murg Kachi Mirch and Parda Biryani to name a few. The Golgappes being served on hand carts,while kulchaas and Paranthas are also served in typical Delhi style (read quantity). The food festival will be open to all and will begin at 7 pm on all days.

The preparations this place offers might have been tried and tasted by many foodies,however,Le Kababiere the latest addition to the city’s Indian cuisine destinations lets you indulge in an array of varieties bringing out the finest taste of the diverse cuisine our country has. “The whole intention is to not make you feel full,” says Shailendra Kekade,executive chef as he explains how meticulously he has eliminated the non-essential fats and spiced it just right to retain the original taste of the dish. “Our biryani won’t make you feel heavy or our chicken preparations won’t let the spicy tang bother you. Our approach has been towards preserving the flavor of the dish while cooking it in the most optimum ingredients,” he adds. The restaurant is a part of Stone Water Grill in Koregaon Park. The interiors with neon pink and electric blue walls add to the ethnic feel along with modern strokes for an Indian ambience. The kebabs that are the stars complemented with delicious but light Curries and authentic Dum Biryanis. “With over a dozen vegetarian kebabs like the Mushroom Galouti,which is highly recommended,we have Murgh Parcha Kebab,Patthar Ka Gosht,Kakori Kebab,along with the much popular tandoori and the seekh,” adds Kekade. The Curries include the likes of Paneer Khurchan,Daal Makhani,Dum Ka Murg,Nalli Qorma,Jheenga Kaffir and Kovalam Roast Crab Curry. The Biryanis are handcrafted in the Dum style with offerings like Lucknowi Gosht,Murgh,and Subz Biryani avd so on. Desserts comprising Zaffrani Phirnee,Mille Feuille of Malpua,Badaam Chenney Ki Kheer and Halwas complete the indulgence of a food trail that encompasses the country.
