Mayur Kalate Pharmacy defeated South Pharma by five wickets in the Licel Inter-Pharma T20 tournament being held at the Katariya High School cricket ground on Monday.
Mayur Kalate won the toss and put the opposition in. South Pharma were bundled out for a meagre 74 runs in 16.3 overs. Very few of the South Pharma batsmen managed to get into double figures. For Mayur Kalate,Abhijeet Yeole was the strike bowler picking up three wickets and giving away just twelve runs. Chetan Dangi and Amit Kadam offered good support by picking up a couple of wickets each. They gave away just nineteen runs together. In reply,Mayur Kalate managed to achieve their target in just 11.3 overs and with five wickets to spare.
Sachin Patole scored an unbeaten 22 in 13 balls to lead his team to victory. His knock included four hits to the fence. Sachin Katore of South Pharma picked up a couple of crucial wickets and tried to restrict the opposition but failed to do so. Mayur Kalate Pharmacy won the match by five wickets and Abhijeet Yeole was declared the man of the match.
