History-sheeter murdered

A 35-year-old man,who was a criminal on police records,was allegedly murdered in Khadke Vasti,Bibwewadi,on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Uddhav Tupere,a resident of Upper Indiranagar.

“Tupere was addicted to marijuana and had gone to Khadke Vasti to get it. Four to five assailants attacked him brutally with sharp-edged weapons,” the police said. Based on eyewitnesses’ accounts,the police have identified the suspects and have launched a search to nab them. DCP Ramnath Pokale said Tupere had offences like attempt to murder,dacoity and robbery registered against him.
