Exchange Programme

RIMS International School and Junior College hosted their first ever international exchange programme from April 2 to 4. A-level students from Leigh Technology Academy,Kent,UK,were accompanied by three members of their teaching faculty. Over a span of three days,various presentations on environmental awareness,cultural heritage,practical Vedic Math class,art lessons,class observations,drama workshops and a yoga session found place in the itinerary. It was a well planned merger of education and excitement. A session on handling differently-abled students by the RIMS counsellors was highly appreciated by the staff and students from Kent. The aim of the programme was to provide an opportunity for students from both countries to share culture and traditions,and thus promote cultural understanding and raise awareness. This exchange also aimed at improving the professional development of staff through contact with other education systems and networking with other teachers internationally.
