Abeda Inamdar Senior College,TY BCS,I was not able to submit my projects which I had been preparing for some time as the college delayed the submission date so it has been very frustrating. Also,my parents are paranoid and force me to stay indoors so I cannot even hangout with my friends. And there’s no point in being happy about the extra holidays because as soon as college reopens,they will rush through the portion to cover up before the exams which will only add to our burden. Although I don’t think this is hyped at all and it is a good thing for schools and colleges to shut down because even if you take precautions you cannot prevent somebody else from coming and carelessly coughing and sneezing right into your face!

Ness Wadia College of Commerce,I have to stay indoors with my family. I can neither go to public places nor popular hot spots and I will not be able to meet as many people as I’d like to so it is going to be a very inconvenient period of time. Worst of all,I will miss playing football with my friends and for my club(Spartans,PDF). Even attending the mosque seems risky now. No,it isn’t hyped at all as statistics prove that cases are increasing each day so it is a responsible thing,especially on the parts on the educational centers,to close down for a few days.

Symbiosis Institute of Design,FY (SID),I feel so helpless like I’m on some kind of a house arrest. My life has become boring. I cannot do anything,can’t step out of the house to meet my friends and my parents understandably don’t allow me to invite friends home. Since my college has declared holidays,my assignment submissions keep piling and this is a huge problem for me as I have to send two or more designing assignments every day. The government is perfectly in the right to take this action as I don’t think this issue is hyped in the least. Right now it still is a relatively small thing but if the proper steps aren’t taken then it will transform into something even more enormous and deadly.

SM Choksey Junior College,11th Science,My unit tests are beginning on the 27th and I have holidays till the 17th. So its obvious my college will make us slog heavily through ten days to complete the entire portion. You can’t go anywhere near theatres and malls as every public outing will be shut so I can’t watch new releases and go on a shopping sprees,especially at this time when all the monsoon sales are on so it is rather unfortunate. The swine flu spread is a big issue but people are exaggerating it too much. However,I’m pleased that schools and colleges have been closed as chances of the virus spreading is much more in public places.
