BDP issue needs viable answer : Pawar
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday said a viable solution was needed regarding the bio-diversity park (BDP). “A solution is needed where farmers are adequately compensated and environmentalists,who want to protect the green cover of the city,are also heard,” said Pawar. Farmer wants to be witness in Lavasa case
A farmer who lost his land because of Lavasa Lake city project filed an application in the Pune court,expressing willingness to be a witness in the criminal case filed by Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) against the project and 14 other persons. The farmer has sought permission to submit some papers that may help the case.
