Child’s play

The Bishop’s School,Camp,organised its annual junior school concert earlier this week. Dressed in costumes of candies,cakes and chocolates,the children of Stds I and II put up a delightful performance and took the audience into an imaginary world of Candy Land. A candy man brought his candy cart into the hall and handed sweets and candies to the audience. Another play,Pinocchio: A Lesson in Honesty was a play staged by students of Stds III,IV and V. The play was based on a series of stories by 19th century Italian author Carlo Collodi. The foot tapping music breathed freshness into the play.The choir sung in unison with the performance and the dances by the children regaled everyone present in the audience. The fable reminded the audience about the necessity of dreams. The entire show gave them an opportunity to revisit their childhood.
