The Mamta Sahayog Seva had organised a cultural programme for underprivileged children from 16 different organisations on February 18. Speaking about the event,S Bhopale,one of members said,The event is held every year and basically aims at letting underprivileged children have fun. The event this year not only saw the children take part in various activities but also saw them perform in front of the audiences. A total of 563 children participated in the programme held at the AFK Officers Club,which amongst others included amusement park rides,camel rides and a host of cultural programmes,dances and skits. Essential items of use like stationery sets; items of daily use were also distributed amongst the children.
