Three city- based students were felictated as a part of the national Learn to Lead initiative that focuses on experiential learning.

‘Learn to Lead’ winners felicitated by UEI

Three city- based students were felictated as a part of the national Learn to Lead initiative that focuses on experiential learning. The concept is introduced by UEI Global that offers graduate and post-graduate programs in Hotel and Business Management. The three winners were Radhika Thakur of Huzurpaga Junior college who was awarded a National Savings Certificate worth Rs 21,000,Taniya Sanjeev Naik of Vidya Bhavan who was awarded a National Savings Certificate worth Rs 11,000 and Pradnya Ghodke of Kendriya Vidyalaya,Lohegaon who was awarded with a National Savings Certificate worth Rs 6,000. The pan-India initiative witnessed 2500 schools and 2,00,000 students across the country scripting their understanding on how learning acts as an important element to become an effective leader. The understanding notes contribute by the students were in English,Hindi and other regional languages in less than 100 words. The best three write-ups from every region were selected and as a token of appreciation students were awarded National Savings Certificate which will support them in achieving success in their desired career. The winners were felicitated by Arun Adsul,former VC of Pune University,P Gaikwad,IAS – Director of Higher Education,Maharashtra Government,and Nayana Bondarde,Dy Collector – MTDC. The three winners are also entitled to a fee waiver of 50%,40% and 35% respectively for UEI Management courses through Kapil Dev Scholarship,which is a UEI Global Initiative.

Dance Competition

City based A’s Dance and Fitness Studio had organised a dance competition,Star Dance Challenge at Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir on June 2. Over 50 dancers performed under different categories like Rising Star Junior and Senior (Solo),Shooting Star (duet and trio),and Elite Star (Group). The Judges included Girish Vasaikar,Dharmesh Patel,Kashi Pande and Sachin Ambre. The winners in the Rising star Junior category was Sakshi,Senior category was Sandesh Kamble (8 to 16 years category). Neha and Snehal were the winners of the Shooting Star(16 years and above). And the winner of the Elite Star was S K Dance Academy.
