L’Oreal India honoured for Chakan plant

Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) and te state environment department recently honoured L’Oréal India with the prestigious ‘Vasundhara Award’ in the ‘large scale industries category’ for its Chakan plant. KushalLokhande,Industrial Director,and Dinesh Dayal,Chief Operating Officer,L’Oréal India,received the award from Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan.

Hager marks World Environment Day

Hager marked the World Environment Day by planting 100 saplings around its factory in Lonikalbhor. The plantation drive was taken up in collaboration with the local gram panchayat. Senior officers of Hager also participated in the drive.

Tata Motors,in association with SIAM,would be rolling out a series of measures on the occasion of anti-counterfeiting day. The company has devised a plan to promote the use of original parts in the market through its brand ‘TOP’. This will ensure that the benefits of advanced technology reach the customers in the form of safety,reliability,durability,economy and environmental protection.

M&M observes World Environment Day

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) marked the World Environment Day with the launch of free PUC check-up camp for all its personal and commercial vehicles. This customer-centric initiative is usually organised at Mahindra dealership workshops in June every year. The initiative is being conducted in association with the Society for Indian Automobile Manufacturers and the Society for Automotive Fitness & Environment.
