(File) A 35-year-old tailor was allegedly shot dead at his house by an unidentified assailant in the early hours of Monday. The victim, Anil Sahu, hailed from Bihar and migrated to Pune with his wife for work and resided at a rented apartment in Khadakmal Ali of Ghorpade Peth, according to the police.
He was doing tailoring work at a textile company in Pune, said senior police inspector Sunil Mane.
The police said the murder occurred at 2 am, and the assailant escaped from the spot immediately. They lodged a murder case at the Khadak police station and launched a probe to identify and arrest the killer.
