Kellie Acreman,the sexiest DJ as per Nuts magazine,on the kind of music she plays and what she would like to produce for an album

She is a glamorous sylph from the UK and has been dubbed as the sexiest DJ by the UK-based Nuts magazine. In the past five years,Kellie Acreman has toured the world,the highlights being opening for Hed Kandi in Ibiza,the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and a mini tour of Australia. She has performed in India several times. I like playing in India since the audience comes with so much energy, says the DJ,who defines the music she plays as deep house. Acreman kick-started the second anniversary celebrations of JW Marriotts club Miami on Wednesday night.

The DJ says she often fuses the deep house prototype with vocals and sexy vibes and likes music with a soulful vibe. The audience she plays to in India prefer high energy music. They like music above 128 beats per minute. The audience here is a big fan of electro music, she says.

Last year,Acreman did a remix of the song,Insatiable. On being asked if she is cutting an album soon,she says,There have been rumours on the internet to the same effect. I think it is because my Facebook page mistakenly states so. But Im not.

However,she adds that she would like to release one soon. I have been working on some material, she says. Until now,she has been focusing largely on being a DJ and doing remixes,but hasnt been able to get down to composing original music,something she would like to incorporate in her dream album. As a child,I used to play the clarinet but I havent played any instrument for a long time now. I am learning to produce music now. Once my educational process is over,I will cut an album, she says.

Commenting on the UK-based magazines sexiest DJ appellation given to her,she says,I dont think that is true. There are a lot of beautiful DJs in the scene and many look better than me.

At Miami on Wednesday night,Acreman played artistes such as Honeywell,Mark Knight,Hardwell,Joey Martinez and Weekend Heroes. The anniversary celebration ends on July 20 with a local act slated for today and an international act for tomorrow.
