Ahead of the passing out parade on May 31,the National Defence Academy (NDA) organised a three-day exhibition,Expo NDA,on Saturday. The exhibition was organised as a part of the end term activities at the academy marking the passing out of the 120th course. The event was inaugurated by Harjit Kaur,the first lady of NDA,at Rakesh Sharma block. Lt Gen Jatinder Singh,Commandant,NDA and Air Vice Marshal Ajit Bhonsle,deputy commandant,NDA were also present. Paintings,aeromodels, photo features and robots assembled by NDA cadets are on display.
The rough and tough cadets are also tech savvy. The hobby clubs at NDA provide cadets a platform to give form to their creativity, said a press release issued by the NDA.
The academy has 41 clubs including dramatics,arts and crafts,painting,media,watermanship,radio and electornics. The cadets take part in the activities twice a week, said the release. The expo that will continue till May 30.
