17 spots along Mutha for immersion

The PMC has identified 17 locations along the Mutha river for immersion of Ganesh idols. and has appointed 130 life guards. A rope would be tied at the locations across the river so that citizens who slip into the river can hold on to them. The civic body has appealed to Ganesh mandals to store water in a drum,arrange for two sacks of sand and a fire extinguisher to tackle any incidents of fire.
