Beri’s Back

The last time that Ritu Beri wowed Mumbai’s fashion-conscious crowd was at the special 10-designer show at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) in September 2009. With her geometrical patterns and bright colour combinations such as red and gold, her Happy Hour line — dominated by ethnic creations — was very well received. Since then, the Delhi-based designer has been choosing other cities over Mumbai, her most recent show being the grand finale at the Bangalore Fashion Week that was held in February this year. However,it looks like that is going to change as Beri prepares for a solo show at the forthcoming edition of the LFW that starts on August 3.
