Ghatkopar YMCA win thriller

Hosts Ghatkopar YMCA snatched a pulsating 39-35 win over ACKOL Group in a men’s league tie,in the 24th Bombay YMCA Annual Open State Level Basketball Tournament on Wednesday. Playing their opening match,Ghatkopar YMCA endured a roller-coaster ride as they rallied from a 12-21 deficit at half-time to pull off an exciting win that earned them crucial points. Chetan Shetty top scored for the winners with 12 points. In another thriller,PG Garodia rallied to a 24-22 win over ACKOL Group after trailing 7-8 at half-time,in a Youth Boys match. Darshan was the top scorer for Garodia with 9 points,while Niraj scored 11 for ACKOL. In another close men’s match,BECC beat Atomic Energy 54-35,after leading 21-13 at half-time.
